As part of the Sydney Datacasting Trial all digital TV broadcasters provide information about what programmes are showing "NOW" and "COMING UP" as well as the next 5 programmes of the evening's line-up.

Through the Free to View Guide, digital free to air TV viewers can see at a glance what programmes are available. The information can be easily updated by the broadcasters so any schedule change can be updated on the guide almost immediately.
